MZTC8722: the Elite Drive-Dock With an SSD Bay, 4K HDMI and 100W Charging

The MZTC8722 Elite Drive-Dock packs an M.2 NVMe bay, 4K 60Hz HDMI, 100W PD charging and three 10Gbps USB ports into one USB-C hub: storage that never leaves the desk.

The backup routine fails for a simple reason: the backup drive lives somewhere else, and getting to it is a chore. The MZTC8722 Elite Drive-Dock, part of the Mattzon SSD enclosure hub family, removes the chore from the equation entirely by building the storage bay into the hub itself. A full M.2 NVMe slot, a 4K display output, fast ports for everything and 100W of charging, in one body attached to one cable.

The Drive Bay Changes the Desk

At the core sits an M.2 NVMe SSD slot running at 10Gbps, accepting 2242, 2260 and 2280 drives (drive not included). Because the bay lives inside the hub, the backup drive stops being a device you attach when you remember and becomes storage that is simply always there: hourly backups, working libraries and project archives land on it continuously, at NVMe-class speed, without occupying an external port or adding a cable. When the drive fills or the project ships, it pops out in seconds and travels.

Display, Power and Speed Around the Core

Around the bay, the specification covers the rest of a serious desk. HDMI 2.0 output drives a display up to 4K at 60Hz. USB-C Power Delivery passes up to 100W to the host laptop, so the machine charges at full speed with the hub in the chain, the complaint our category hears most and the specification we publish most precisely. For data, the hub carries one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 and two USB-A 3.1 Gen 2 ports at 10Gbps for fast drives and modern peripherals, plus one USB 2.0 port for the keyboard-receiver class of devices that need ports, not bandwidth.

SD and TF card slots running at 400MB/s complete the intake side, which turns the Elite Drive-Dock into the photographer's one-cable desk as naturally as the office worker's: cards in, footage onto the NVMe drive, display running, laptop charging, all through the same connection.
